Environmental Policy – Apostolos Voliotis
The policy followed by our company for the protection and preservation of the environment is based on the following fields:
- Minimizing the emission of pollutants and waste into the environment, limiting and promoting for recycling the liquid and solid waste produced in our facility as well as the appropriate organic waste for use as fertilizer, limiting the consumption of natural resources in the daily operation of the company with the rational management of raw materials, other materials and energy.
- The identification and prevention of potential risks of environmental contamination.
- Continuous information, as well as compliance in matters related to environmental legislation.
- Cooperation with the relevant social agencies in order to take appropriate measures to prevent and maintain the sustainability of the environment.
- Training our company’s staff and informing our partners with the aim of understanding the importance of the environmental policy that governs our company.
- We inform our customers and visitors about the correct use of our products throughout their life cycle to avoid environmental impacts.
- Proper use of the machinery of our oil mill installation to save electricity.
